Our clients thus far have come from 72 different communities. Of all the businesses the RCEF has helped start, only two are no longer in existence. Two other companies sold out to larger corporations and several clients have received awards at the Minnesota Inventors Congress, including the 2001 Grand Prize (F. Robert Starr Award) and the Otto Schmitt Memorial Award for Most Innovative both won by Sam Fasnacht for his "Valley King" invention.
